01. About

I'm a Lead / Senior Software Engineer currently building cloud-native public health data platforms — designing multi-jurisdiction disease-surveillance systems, secure data pipelines, and interoperable APIs that meet HIPAA and public-sector compliance standards.

My background spans full-stack engineering, healthcare interoperability (HL7 / FHIR), DevOps automation, and applied machine learning. I hold a Ph.D. candidacy in Computer Science / Bioinformatics, where my research applied convolutional neural networks to medical imaging for early-stage disease detection.

Whether it's leading Agile delivery teams, mentoring engineers, or architecting CI/CD pipelines, I focus on building systems that are secure, maintainable, and genuinely useful to the people who rely on them.

Outside my day-to-day engineering role, I'm drawn to solopreneurship — the challenge of taking a piece of software from idea to production entirely on my own. That drive led me to found Aesepus Technology, a software consultancy I run independently alongside my full-time work.

04. Ventures

Beyond my full-time engineering work, I've embraced solopreneurship — designing, building, and shipping software independently, end to end, without a team to fall back on.

Aesepus Technology

Building Intelligent Software for Healthcare, Education & Finance

Visit aesepus.com ↗

Aesepus Technology is a software consultancy I founded and run solo, based in Atlanta, GA. It builds custom, HIPAA-compliant solutions for healthcare clients — patient portals, EHR integrations, and telehealth systems — alongside learning-management platforms for education and fintech tools for finance, including a consumer-facing mortgage refinance calculator. Rather than acting purely as a development shop, Aesepus positions itself as a strategic partner, applying the same domain expertise in healthcare data and compliance I built over 15+ years in my engineering career to help smaller organizations ship reliable software.
